So I have been found guilty!

I hope residents appreciate the £5,000 spent deciding if my blog brought my office into disrepute and treated people without respect. That is what I have been found guilty of. There was no finding my comments were racist, because they are not.The blog post is here and has been up for months. Make up your own mind. I do note that whilst the accusers claimed that facts were unsubstantiated, not one of the accusers has produced facts that prove that or disprove the claims.Rather like the cover up of 5 times more library members in Southall over 18 than were on the electoral roll when the poll tax was being introduced.Staff threatened with sackings if it was leaked.  What are they afraid of? The truth which ever way it falls?

I must accept that many thousands of our voters would have expressed their observations in the way that Cllr Benjamin did. The issue was blown up out of all proportion. It could have been dealt with differently, without rancour.

Was it worth £5,000 to investigate it? Despite what you think, I broke no laws, I exercised an important right, free speech. My comments offended nobody, not one resident complained. That speaks for itself.

As stated before, you were stupid and naive to write these comments in the position you held and your party were always going to drop you.I'd force you to pay the £5k for starting this mess in the first place.
