Which is the best patisserie in Ealing?

Want to order some really delicious cakes for someone special - this person is coming to a surprise teaparty(she thinks it'll be a small party), but in fact about a dozen of us want to welcome her as a surprise, 'cos haven't seen her for years and we owe her bigtime - she's someone really special. So the best freshest cakes and pastries please? Thanks - so best cake shop in Ealing please.

Bonne Bouche cafe on Oak Road at the side of the main shopping centre, Ealing Broadway, does a nice selection of fresh cream cakes. For the best latte, just about anywhere, try Cafe 786 on Pitshanger Lane, where they also do delicious fresh cream Victoria sponge and chocolate cake, baked on the premises.

That's interesting, I've never tried the bread before,  I'll have a look next time I'm there, but the cakes really are excellent, as is the service which is so important when you're ordering for a special occasion.

I hear the bread is very good there.A friend of mine has even stopped buying bread at Parkers (too dry and doesn't keep well enough) in favour of this place.

The Baker by the Kitchen Ideas shop that's been closing down for years on the Broadway, baked to order and fresh and light as a feather. I'd recommend the strawberry and cream gateau, I've ordered it a few times for special parties and it was a real talking point for some ladies who bake and were very impressed.
