I didn't know this
that W S Gilbert(of Gilbert and Sullivan fame) was an Ealing man born and schooled just a few yards from where we live. Just read an interesting feature article about the life and times of W S Gilbert in this week's edition of The Ealing Gazette. Well I'll be blowed.
