With white English now outnumbered in London 2-1, and from what one sees for oneself in Council offices, it could well be the ones in those positions have " empathetic considerations ". As time goes on such will become more prevalent. This country built up a reputation both here and overseas of a Civil Service in which the people were honest, dependable and above all non bribeable whereas that was most certainly not the situation in most other countries, and when persons from those countries pitch their tents here, they do not abandon their ways customs and habits but bring them and to which in many instances, we are expected to adapt to, or at least make excuses/ allowances for. When local authorities are out of the hands of the indigenous people of this country, which will happen naturally as time goes on, then I feel the fun will really get underway and there will be precious little we can do about it, except civil war. The case you cite is not unknown by any means. Men of a certain religion which practices the ownership of more than one wife " request " more than one house, which when given, the whole lot move into one and let the other out. THIS Govt. are giving £9.5 million to local authorities to suss out cases of social housing not being used in strict accordance within the rules, but again there is no guarantee those doing the investigation will put their " heart and soul " into their investigations. There was scant action as far as we are aware of those in authority locally in Southall taking any effective action eithee by deed or word re the beds in sheds fiasco before the national press got wind of them. We are being ripped off wholesale, remember the Afghan woman in Acton who stung us for £184,000 in Benefits every year!. That is like saying she was worth 37 senior indigenous Brits.
