Hanwell Hootie Highlights

What a night!!! Some really ace musicians and great music all over Hanwell but the top prize must go to Phil Odgers from The Men They Couldn't Hang in the Royal Victoria - that pub has never been so packed and the place was rocking.  Et Tu Bruce were also very good. Marvellous night all round. This has got to be an annual event from now on. I'd like to see Phil Odgers in The Pig (The Prince of Wales)next year though. Also, be nice to have a comedy bar. Thanks to everyone involved in organising this, you did Hanwell proud.

Thought Du Bellows were the best band. Tommy Hare was my highlight of the day he has an awesome voice. He sounds like Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes.. well worth checking out.

Was too packed for my liking but was superb. I'd like to see if they could move this more into the summer and to an outdoor festival format - just an idea. This can only get more and more popular and the lcoal pubs could be protected from losing out by being provided with outside pitches.
