What do the people of Ealing think of  Cllr Ben.Dennehy

The reason I ask this is what he said, was that a lie or a fact?I read somewhere that no southall resident complained about what he said, so why was he suspended from the conservative party.IMO the reason why the welfare system and immigration and NHS is in a crisis is because whenever someone speaks up, they are booted out and damned for even suggesting anything to the contrary.

Agree..... It's time the 'race card' was well and truly torn up and banned from being used against anyone who dares to utter anything nearing genuine criticism. For too long people have been punished and labelled for as little as looking sideways at any non-indigenous person. We have the right to voice and expose any wrong doing by anyone and ethnics have hidden behind and been protected by citing 'racism' .....which in most cases the real term is 'realism'. We need more Mr. Denneheys to sort out the dump known as Southall in all aspects ....

The truth hurts ....and costs votes !! His statement was correct but not PC friendly....Southall is a den of iniquity and the most awful area in W.London.Needs a huge political and physical clear out.Hate passing through the filthy area...what a bad reflection on London given to anyone arriving at Heathrow for the first time.Thank goodness for the Hayes bypass !!!!!

I recall that residents in Park View Road Ealing, including Prof Alan Gillett and Mr & Mrs R.Hanreck, were very grateful for the support they received from Cllr. Benjamin Dennehy in a problem planning case in their road. Anyone who helps beleaguered neighbours in unneighbourly planning cases is in my good books!

As has already been said though, the chances of the tories actually winning anything at all, ever, in Southall is severely limited.In that context what does it matter what was said?The intentions of a single voter were unchanged.Or is the argument that some voters in other wards where the tories do have something to lose might have been turned off by the remarks?This is much more of a value judgement but I wonder, in reality, just how many voters intentions would have been swayed from what they were going to do anyway by statements which, presumably, they knew in their hearts to be true?Now, if some gratuitous racial insult had been thrown, well, that would have been a different kettle of bananas altogether...  But it wasn't!

Benjamin,Whilst I truly empathise with you that you were 'hung out to dry' by your peers for saying what they and most of us are thinking, I'm afraid you were also naive. In a business where votes count, I'm not sure what you good you thought could come from this. Again, I repeat you that you said what we were all thinking, but, your comments, irrespective of whether factually correct or not, posed a major threat to securing votes from a whole area (Southall) and this was always going to end badly for you!I'm glad you're recovered though and will watch with interest at your and your new party's developments...Brgds, Bud

There are enough  shootings and stabbings these days to worry us all, and those are THE crimes we hear about. Drug dealing and other lesser crimes  go unpublicised, I am sure. In the interests of racial harmony of course but I am sure  some will say we never had it so good!

The way they have treated the Councillor has been appalling and all that money wasted which will be paid by tax payers. I hope all the forum members can put pressure on whoever it is, Boris or someone from the council to sort this mess out.If the tories come knocking on my door for my vote, I will ask them to explain themselves how they could have suspended someone who was only speaking the truth. I have relatives who live in Southall and they and practically everyone who is legal to live in this country all agreed with what the Councillor said. Southall is a no go area now. It is full of crime and illegal immigrants. You just have to walk in Southall and you will see prostitutes standing by the kerb of the road and yong men selling drugs and illegal workers standing on king street all lined up. Everyone is fed up and if you speak to residents, they all want tough action

Re  I fail to see what censure has achieved          xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx like all censures  on such matters what it achieves is the silencing of debate, can't  " silence " the thoughts though and at some stage  there will be an eruption of public disgust at the way our " leaders "  have  made  us , indigeous Brits , frightened to speak the truth if we wish to retain our jobs ( and even housing I think if public type ? ). I can remember the case of the H S B C  employee in a N. London branch who said she did not like Iranians I think it was, another member of staff overheard, reported her and all hell was let lose, including the first woman being sent on a " correction course ". And we criticise countries like North Korea!!. We need an organisation of " good quality " persons to start hitting back and campaigning on behalf or  persecuted persons. The case of Emma West is disgusting, the way she has and is being treated. Maybe what she said is  controversial but at least she should have the right to say it?. It all depends who says what. Compare that with the case of the 4 Somali women  who attacked, brutally  knocked to the ground a young white girl kicking and screaming " kill the white bitch ", tramatised her for 12 months but were let off with suspended sentences. Had it been the other way round, the attackers would probably  be part way through a 5 year prison sentence?. The previous head of the M C B said gay sex was wrong etc , should not be allowed etc, and the Govt. were mindful to prosecute but backed off as no-one dare challenge Muslims or Islam these days,  as we know. It would be interesting to find out how many  in this country have been sent on " correction  courses " and for what reason?. Submission by stealth ( and I bet there haven't been many non-whites who have been sent for anti white comments? )

Thank you for offering the clarification that many have been seeking.If residents from the community about which you spoke are supportive then I fail to see what censure has achieved/ will achieve save to 'gag' freedom of speech.Good luck with the impending arrival of 'Dennehy Junior'.

Thanks for this. I wrote a blog back in March last year in which the alleged "offending" comments were the fact I said this was an Indian community problem. Apparently you can't call a spade a spade. Southall is world famous for being an Indian community. Secondly by saying "criminality is endemic" I apparently caused offence and "besmirched" an entire community. This is despite the fact many indian residents contacted me to say finally someone is saying something about this.Facts:1) No resident in Southall complained2) No Councillor representing Southall complained3) Only 1 Complainant and that was Cllr Gary Malcolm, Lib Dem leader - (pure political posturing) from Southfield Ward4) Cllr David Millican (Tory Leader) originally, after reading my blog, had no issue with it and was supportive5) Boris Johnson's re-election committee angered at the timing of my blog (Mayoral elections were in full swing)6) An order to make an example was given from somewhere on high7) I was labelled a racist as a convenient catch line to shut down debate8) Officially I was expelled for "causing embarrassment" to the party9) In October last year the Director of Legal Services, in answer to a written question by me, acknowledges that it had cost her in house lawyer and herself personally in time and money 18 hours and £1,900 to investigate the complaint as of October 201210) Since October a third report has been drafted and more hours spent on this11) A QC called Mr Sheldon was consulted at a cost of nearly £1,350 (Free speech elements required legal advice)12) Total cost to date of investigation to tax payers is in region of £3,500 and still rising13) Council unanimously voted in April 2010 to condemn my comments and demand that I withdraw my comments and apologise - I REFUSED14) The maximum punishment any Standards Committee investigation can give me is Censure - that's it.15) The unanimous vote at Council last year is worse than a censure16) Absolutely nothing has or can be achieved from this investigation. To score cheap political points they all shot their load in passing the motion to denounce me last year - that makes the entire standard investigation meaningless17) This is a total waste of money as I will not apologise or withdraw my comments and have reaffirmed them both at full council and in the press since the motion was passed18) Vote UKIP in the 2014 Local elections if you want to stop this sort of crap happening.I'm very open and honest about this as I have nothing to hide. Being labelled a racist has been a laughable experience. The only person offended by me being labelled a racist was my wife, she's West Indian. Our child will be mixed raced. Re  want someone like you on my team.        xxxxxxxxxxxxx  that's very nice of you Asha. Maybe it is just as well you don't know the history of the Forums but there were some nasty people who  were not only on here but there are some who think the nasties had/have a hand in running the Forums, and there is good evidence that they could well do. I have advocated the Forums be investigated by outside official organisations. There was one person in particular who posted the most virulent messages, attacked certain persons and when those persons hit back, got them removed. I was attacked regularly. Many on here know full well to whom I am referring. I am convinced they are/ were not simply private individuals on the Forums for  normal reasons but for other purposes. Time will tell whether they are lurking in the background and/or what their agenda is?.

You may not  have been on the Forums long enough but  the vitriol that has been spewed out at me  has been quite remarkable, campaigns to get me removed from the ForumsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTony, you are such a nice man and I just can't imagine anyone trying to get you removed from the forum. I have always thought you were the wisest and knowledgeable from everyone else. There will always be a few people who like to disagree than agree. If it is raining outside and you say it is raining, they will say you are being racist and it is sunny. That is how they operate. You always give good answers on the forum and are always fair. If I was running for election, I would want someone like you on my team.

RE  sad really that no conservative rallied behind him.        xxxxxxxxxxxx you must realise Asha no politician at any level or any Party has the guts to speak up on such matters and on the odd occasion that one does, they are disowned by their  " superiors ". Basically we have been made to be afraid of our own shadows and become a nation of woosies. Only a few right wing politicians/ Parties speak their minds, and even if the truth, they gat lambasted. Because I am against mass immigration , the fact 70-80% of the population are also , does not prevent the left wingers, anti white Brits  screaming  racist, facist etc. whereas in reality it is they who are the racists, and of the most vile and treacherous type. Someone said a few weeks ago on this Forum West Ealing is becoming a dump ( which I have been saying for a long time ) and another poster asked what it will look like in the future, to which I replied , like Southall. Which it will, and when non traditional Brits  get complete control of the Local Authority admin, I predict matters will get much worse?.

He said something like 'Southall has the highest number of illegal immigrants in the whole of London. Drugs, prostitution, criminal activity is at a high...'.The thing is everyone in southall knows this is true so why was he suspended. He was made a scapegoat and sad really that no conservative rallied behind him.

Odd really, he said what a lot of residents were/are thinking and was suspended.No Southall residents complained yet he was doubtless suspended for fear that he may cost the Conservatives votes in Southall. That is one of the last things that the Conservatives should worry about. Southall's wards are allegedly so corrupt that the chances of the Conservatives picking up a winning vote in Southall are negligible at best.
