Is this real or wishful hope?

"We have noticed a marked shift in the areas people searching will consider when buying homes in the area, with West Ealing and Hanwell featuring heavily on many people's wish lists. People registering are aware that house prices in these areas which have historically been more affordable are set to go up as the deadline for Crossrail comes closer. As a result many buyers are keen to purchase property before the prices rise." Are this surge in West Ealing and Hanwell property prices real, or is it that the estate agents are trying to "up the ante"?

Does anyone know how many Crossrail trains per hour will be stopping at Hanwell and West Ealing, and how much will tickets to Central London cost ?Because I would be concerned that if the trains are less frequent than every 10 minutes and the cost is not broadly in line with the Tube, then a buyer in such hyped up new Crossrail station areas could potentially end up both rather squeezed and shortchanged.

The 'surge' is real, at least in this part of Hanwell 9Boston Manor). Prices are up and 'For sale' boards don't seem to last long before being changed to under offer or Sold.Any why not? It's a nice area with good transport links already, good schools and nice open spaces. It also has a nice 'community' feel about it.
