lots of shops closing down in west ealing

I have noticed lots of shops closing down recently. Blockbusters.Dreams bed storethe post office in west Ealing was closed for 2 weeks (something to do with the lease and a notice was put up by the sheriff saying no entry allowed), but I saw a note today saying it is opening tomorrow and business as usual (but tomorrow is Good Friday). So don't know if it will still run as a post office.A few shops inside the Ealing Broadway centre. I saw a closing down sale sign in one of the clothes shops.There used to be a jewellery shop in the centre but that's gone.I dread to think what Uxbridge Road will look like in 10 year's time. A row of pound shops and lots of empty boarded up shops. All doom and gloom.

Probably more like Liverpool around the stadium, at least the last time I was there.

Re  what Uxbridge Road will look like in 10 year's time.           xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  with the way the change in population is going, I would say it will look more like Southall, and is already begining to do so. An area will naturally reflect the bulk of it's people.
