Winning the Lottery - advice.

If one won £2.75Million on the Nat Lottery, who should one go to for advice and guidance please?Would that amount of money be likely to alter one's personality and/or character?

I want to win it before I am too old to enjoy it!I know a guy who is a self made millionaire who won £3.5M last year - he truly does not need the money and even though he told us of his win, did not even throw a few beers! Bad form.....

i would go and pick up my cheque, put it in the bank wait 5 working days, book a holiday to australia, look into buying a four bedroom house  and say nothing to no one

A man found out at work he had won the lottery he rushed home to his wife to break the good news. On hearing the news she asked what clothes should I pack winter or summer? to which he replied I don’t care as long as your out by midday.

Unfortunately Philip, I haven't won a relatively precise sum of £2.75M. No dream or vision either. Its just that I read of several big-time Lottery winners spending all their winnings and being saddened by losing their fortunes with profligacy.

Gerry,Curious as to the relatively precise figure of £2.75M - have you had a dream or a vision?  Either way good luck but surely the more you have the less advice you need - you can afford to be profligate.

I would love to have that amount of money to give away.The old saying of "Money is like manure, better if it's spread around" rings true with me.A joke to finish.A Scotsman wins £10,000,000 on the lottery, his wife asks him "what to we do about all the begging letters?"He replies, "No worries darling, I'll keep sending them".

If I was lucky enough to win £2.75 million I would obviously, initially, be deleriously happy then I would very quickly realise that it wasn't enough.  By the time I had paid off my 3 childrens' mortgages, sorted out grandchildren with small trust funds, treated my sisters to holidays and a reasonable amount of cash, not to mention nieces and nephews, and the several thousand friends I would undoubtedly discover - I am pretty sure I would be just about out of money but, what fun I would have giving it away and spending it.
