Head of the River race
Get down to The Thames on Saturday from 12.45 on when over 400 eights compete in the Head of the River race. Many local people taking part, and far more exciting and meaningful than the Boat Race. Starts at Chiswick Bridge and ends four and a quarter miles later at Putney. Hammersmith Bridge best place to watch as several clashes occur there
