Budget Day.

Its Budgey Day again.  What good news will our Chancellor Mr G. Osbourne be giving us? What good news do we deserve?

The developibg countries appear to be developing quicker than we are right now!Charity is fine when one can afford to give it, and it should be given to those in genuine need, However, India has already said it neither wants or needs this money yet our government insists in giving it anyway.Some despots are apparently getting VERY rich thank you on handouts from this very generous country. In the meantime we are getting deeper and deeper in debt.Imagine borrowing money to give it to other countries in these desperate times? Crazy.By the way I totally disagree with out MP's giving themselves another hefty increase in salary - they are already well heeled with whopping oensions!What does it mean when they say 'We are all in it together?'

Giving money aid to developing countries is essential, but I do think too much is given to too many allegedly corrupt governments and more should now be reserved for "home" use imo. Especially in these difficult financial times.

In 2009/10 we sent the following:India £295m - has a space programme, a full nuclear programme and an economy growing at four times the rate of the UK.Pakistan £140m - nuclear programme, recognised corrupt government.Nigeria £114m - awash with oil, corrupt government.There's HALF A BILLION saved in five minutes - not difficult this budget lark is it?Source of the above data: DIFD

I would like to know who was the duffer that originally thought of presenting the idea of granting a 32% pay rise to our MP's at a time when the nation is having to put up Job-Cuts ,and Pay-Cuts, and Benifit-Cuts and Social Strangulation of small savings. This morning I heard our PM being interviewed about the Sad plight of the Old and Vulnerable amongst us, and every time Mr Cameron kept replying about the Financial Help he was giving the Poor in Foreign Lands and the support for the needy beyond our Island Borders.  He has certainly not being reminded of the Nations priorities. Enjoy your 32% pay rise Mr Cameron.The rest of us will have to put up with Cuts ,Cuts ,Cuts and whatever else we must to keep you and the Run away Bankers bonuses happy.

I like to think that he can't make a bigger pig's ear of it than he did last year but I'm sure he'll be doing his best.
