Pest control - squirrel in ceiling

Hi EveryoneThis morning we have been shocked to hear a loud scratching on the bathroom ceiling.Its got to be either a rat or a squirrel.  We think its a squirrel making a nest which could be a big problem.Has anybody got any advice on local pest control companies?Any help would be greatly appreciated.regardsRick

Our neighbour has a super new loft conversion - he and his wife chose to sleep there - after a few weeks he discovered squirrels had chewed the electric wires and disturbed the thick loft insulation.  Our neighbour borrowed an air rifle and frightened the pesky squirrels away. All seems OK now.

Re get them out asap           xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx VERY good advice, the house next door to mine in Southampton  got them and they ate through all the wiring up top. I have seen them clinb walls with no trouble, have  very sharp claws and can hang on closed plastic windows with them.

if it is a  squirrel get them out asap we normally catch with cages they can also be shot as they are classed as a pest
