It's only 20% for new applicants, sadly. This government, in its wisdom, removed higher rate tax relief for newbies in April last year.

Check if your employer is enrolled on a childcare vouchers scheme, which if you're a higher rate taxpayer are worth a 40% income tax saving. Not to be sniffed at.

Supply and demand, premises costs, staff costs, insurance costs.They MAY reduce slightly once the ratio of carers to children can decrease as has been proposed.
