Full English breakfast.

Where in Ealing is the best place that offers a full English breakfast, consisting of fries eggs, bacon, pork sausage, black pudding, some fried wild mushrooms, a dollop of bubble 'n squeak and slices of sauteed potatoes? With a mug of hot strong tea too please?(the kind that builders love). Thanks.

Spot on Tony! I ate in The Big Bite before and when asking for "no chips", they looked at me like I had 2x heads!! Good food though!

I occassionally frequent the Horseshoe as well so that's another vote.The Big Bite on the corner of the Uxbridge Road in Hanwell is also quite good.I just wish that they wouldn't serve "chips with everything" though.Chips are not a part of the traditional full english!

+1 for the Horseshoe in Hanwell.There was an excellent thread on this last year, when I was bemoaning the lack of a good cafe on the South Ealing road. One forum member took to posting pictures of his favourites - brilliant!

The Horseshoe in Hanwell (opposite Wickes) does a mean brekkie. Trying to lose a few much neede pounds, I've not been for a good while, but I do recall a great breakfast without stinging the wallet.

Do the Walpole still do massive portions of everything? We went there for dinner once and came out like Strasbourg Geese. Can't be good for the bottom line (in any sense).
