Re and that is if we are very very prudent. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I don't think prudence ( saving ) pays these days Os. One gets sod all interest on savings ( HSBC Premier customer High Interst account gets 0.10% !!! ). And one has to sell one's home to cover the exhorbitant residential home fees whereas if you have not saved or invested in your own home, the State will pay for you, as with all other benefits, so spend when you get it, enjoy your money when you get it. That sadly is the moral given out by the anti " wealthy " socialists these days. They ( Glib Dems ) are even now talking re an annual tax on homes over a certain value, not as though the amount of the value is what the owner paid, or could pay now. Some politicians are motivated by envy, whereas they spend billions on benefits for people who do not deserve them, whether they are indigenous or otherwise. Don't forget we had a woman just down the road with 7 kids who was given £ 184,000 per YEAR in benefits as dreamed up by the socialists.
