It would be interesting to read the Official Report on the fire..eg the time the alarm was raised, how soon the first Fire Engine arrived, and the second, and the third etc.From my perch I could see ferocious flames and black smoke rising from the built up area where it was happening. Even 30 minutes after the fire had started it seemed that more Appliances were on their way from distant Fire Stations.It is worthy of study.. but we don't usually get to see or hear about the performance.
