E2 bus service

Has anyone else noticed how bad the regularity of buses has become? I use this bus most days and I am often waiting for 30 mins for one to turn up. I mentioned this to my wife and she has noticed a sharp decline in its service in the past six months. Anyone else noticed a problem? I'm genuinely interested if anyone else has noticed before I complain, to avoid looking like a cantankerous old git.

I tried the text service once before I had a smart phone and it took 20 minutes to get a reply, by which time I was on the bus and almost home. You have to pay for two texts as well -- out and in.

No problem as far as I can see. Use E3 and E2 to West Ealing from Little ealing. there can be up to 7 buses in 25 minutes some days. Try moving out of London and in many cities it's one bus every 30 minutes and none on Sundays.

If you don't have s smart phone. There is a sign on every bus stop giving a number to text and the number of the bus stop. You can text and get a reply in seconds. Downside it's not always accurate but it gives a good idea of how long you can expect to wait.

The bus app has made my life much simpler. I check the bus times, then go for a cup of coffee, sauntering over to the stop when the bus is due. No more standing at the stop for ages, seething.

I'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to phones, but that is one of the few apps (I use the website, myself) that makes me want to get one.

I catch the bus from Ealing broadway at 4pm every day. There is bus at 4 pretty much on the dot, but if I'm unlucky and miss this; a wait of 25 to 30 minutes it typical. Perhaps it's a change over between shifts... I suppose I could accept it during rush hour and if the roads were busy, 4 is usually quiet.

They have been on divert at the top of Northfield Avenue for a few days as I noticed two turning down Culmington Road.

It's definitely got worse, though not significantly, and I think it's still a good service. I catch the E2 station from Northfields at around 08:00 every morning, and I would say an average wait of around 4 - 5 minutes six months ago has become an average wait of around 6 - 7 minutes.  You say you wait 30 minutes some days. At what time of day?
