Scary, that's what the figures are.Except in the mid-range shaded areas, they show a polarised, divided society.

Interesting.A very high proportion of Southall's residents identify themselves as British. Conversely few in north east Acton identify themselves as thus.There's a clutch of Cornishmen in Cleveland ward!The healthiest in the borough are in the east (Acton).Few Southall residents have Welsh heritage :-)The ageing population in many wards makes the A&E closures even more questionable.  Loads of kids around, it's going to make school planning 'interesting' but the figures show where the need is.Youth unemployment highest in the west of the borough.Tht's just a first 'pass'. Lots of data there to shape council and other social services to 'localise' to meet needs.

I don't know how the web link shows on your screen but I found it worked well by copying and pasting the link into the URL box in a new tab.The author has gone through many / all of the individual datasets on the 2011 census and mapped the results onto a map of LBE broken down by wards - Cleveland, Greenford Green, Southfield etc.I'm not a statistician but some of the maps are easily understood and some not so much, although the way the data is presented looks similar to that I've seen on other charts.Example charts:- Density (number of persons per hectare)- Usual resident population - males- Usual resident population - females- Country of birthetc etc etc
