Theft of spare wheel

Yet again theft happening in the ealing area sometime between friday afternoon and sunday morning i have had my van damaged and spare wheel stolen. It may sound a small problem but its expensive to replace and potentially very dangerous if the carrier had fallen off on motorway it could of killed someone the replacement is over £200 more if i had to replace on the side of a motorway and be recovered this would cost £500+This has to stop what is the local police doing i could someone before and gave all the details of there registration nothing ever happened So MET Police what are you going to do about this on going problem PLEASE DONT PATRONISE ME AND SAY YOU WILL SEND SOMEONE TO SEE ME ABOUR SECURITY ADVICE I HAVE ALARM ON VAN, DEADLOCKS, CHAIN ON SPARE, CCTV ON HOUSE FILING 24HRS A DAY"I have said before that people are walking around the streets at night where are the police even stranger that this spare wheel carrier and wheel were only fitted Thursday and i used van friday

Update on the wheel theft the car used was a silver people carried probably a galaxy at 8.50pm friday night so quite early two people involved both white males the car has alloys but N/S front wheel was black steel rim so quite distinct please if you see this vehicle please let me know if its on your street Video being edited tomorrow ill add to u tube and post link the other atempted theft from another van outside was caught and i had the car squad visit today they knew the guy and i believe there going to pay a visit

Why don't speak to the Police instead of ranting on here. The Police will take the report but if there isn't any evidence not a lot can be done. Was nothing seen on CCTV? If so, hand it to the Police.

It's so common sadly as is the theft of catalysers from under 4x4's.As you say Mark it's the damage they do and the potential safety hazards they leave that make this even more galling.
