Pantos in Ealing.

Are there any good pantomimes showing this year? I could do with a good laugh from a Hindge and Bracket-type ugly sisters combo, a fat goose and a principal boy with lovely long legs like the comely Strictly Come Dancing females dancers. Nothing like a touch of Christmas cheer!

I think you'll find that Alice in wonderland was the summer production, Annie was definately the christmas one, last year, as it was the first time in many years I've managed to get to see my son in a christmas production as he's usually much further afield, this year he was in Belfast, but he stayed close to home last year as it was his first christmas with his new wife :)

I usually take the children to the Questors Christmas productions because they havent been pantos but rather family classics. Last year was Alice in Wonderland, the year before was Annie, and before that i seem to remember A Christmas Carol, the Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast. This year's show described as a seasonal Christmas classic for all the family is It's a Wonderful Life.

We're surprised that Questors haven't done a panto this year. They usually put one on and some have been brilliant and quite lavish with lots of production quality. Lets hope they reintroduce a good panto next year. I'm sure they will...oh no they won't...oh yes they will...

I'm really suprised that Questors dont have a christmas show this year, Annie was great last year but then i'm biased as my eldest was in it :)

I saw Snow White with Priscilla Presley in it yesterday,it is well performed. It's on at Wimbledon which is easy to get to changing on to the district line from Notting Hill Gate, tickets start from £10.

The nearest two 'professional' pantos are at The Richmond Theatre and at The Beck in Hayes.St.Mary's Players community panto has, strangely, 'been and gone' in early December, nothing is listed at Questors and Waterman's is simply closed until 2013.
