Did anyone see the Donkey yesterday? I was out doing shopping at around the time but didn't see it, was it running late?

I didn't realise how much WEN has done for the neighbouhood. Thanks to you and all the members - wishing you all the warmest of the season's greetings - thanks again.

What David didn't say was that the donkey hire was funded by St James Church and West Ealing Neighbours (WEN). WEN donated the profits from running the annual Arts and Crafts fair last month at St James Church last month to the local community. WEN shared out the profit on half of Dino; a contribution to the Christmas lights' costs in Melbourne Avenue; and valuable cash to support the Winter Shelter Churches accomodation programme for homeless people. I'll blow WEN'S trumpet every now and then.

I don't know if it was running late but it was definitely in West Ealing. I saw it in Melbourne Ave and later for the nativity play in St James Ave. Dina was a lovely, very well-behaved donkey which was very happy to be patted by children. The owner said Dina had been filmed for a Harry Potter film but hasn't seen any of the films so doesn't know if Dina got past the cutting room floor. Anyone remember a donkey in a Harry Potter film?
