Christmas Recycling & Residual Waste Kerbside Collection

It would be good to not have to walk through rubbish that people dump out before they go away for Christmas Cleaner streets are much more enjoyable for Christmas walks with friends  There's more info on the Calendar section on the front page of this websiteUse street recycling banks and supermarket recycling banks to reduce a bit of your recycling - usually paper, cans and bottles but often more  KNOW YOURS!  You can look them up and check online what they take (but you can't check if they're full) so keep using the kerbside collection availableReduce the volume by dismantling and flattening boxes and squashing cans and teach the kids something in the processMake a space in your freezer for any excess leftover food!  (Something that's best for the November diary and maybe next year I'll succeed with that one) There are lots of websites to help now
