I am a bit curious about Sports Direct...

Hasn't this store opp. Town Hall just opened recently?  Why then is there a massive "stock liquidation' sale on?  The store frontage looked as if it was closing down when I drove past this morning.   Or is Sport Direct like DFS? Permanent sales on to dupe people into thinking they are getting a bargain rather than just buying cheap rubbish?

I get my sons stuff from there - trainers, rugby boots and bits of kit. Like any 'discount' retailer you just have to be a little careful as some of the brands aren't brilliant. But they do stock some Nike and Addidas and prices are great when you have a growing child(ren)

They're not new, having moved round from the mall where they had a very narrow and cramped store. I would guess they are just having a good clear-out in their new location.I used their website to buy some trainers recently: you can see at once if they have the shoe you want in your size and delivery was very fast. I shall use them again.

I know professional athletes who use Sports Direct, so, perhaps, not as bad as it seems

Sports Direct acquired 20 stores and presumeably a load of stock when JJB Sports collapsed.I have used them for ages for trainers, footballs and the like and their prices and service are generally very good.

permanent sale situation.. all the rubbish shoes and clothes that the other stores wont stock. The kind of clothing worn by painters and decorators
