Hi Gerry, was just about to tell you that they're (persian terrace) open Christmas day lol, ate there again this evening and if anything the food was even better, just a shame that people arent giving it a fair crack of the whip.I have noticed that one of the things people nearly always moan about in regard to Persian restaurants is the service, what most people take as a lack of interest in the customer, is in fact normal behaviour by waiters in Persian restaurants. A meal out is a social occasion for the majority of Iranians, and a very relaxed experience, not requiring waiting staff standing by the table every two minutes asking if everything is ok. Normally a quiet nod toward a waiter will bring them to the table, meals in Iran can last for hours as they are considered one of lifes pleasures by most, as majority of Iranian dishes take several hours to cook, you show your gratitude to the cook by savouring the meal.
