You obviously don't live in the area on the other side of Pitshanger, where roads, pavements and the park’s footpaths are in a mess: uneven, full of cracks, holes, dirt and grime the whole area is generally unkempt. If you are on for a nice bumpy ride Just drive along the last bit of Argyle Road, especially if coming from the A40 end; or Vallis way and then up Claremont Road and down Highview all of which have suffered badly from the snow and icy conditions of the last couple of years. If you are out during a downpour, then you need welly boots and waterproofs on, as roads get flooded because of the blocked drains and pavements are full of large puddles. Even the wonderful Pitshanger Lane turns into a series of ponds since raised tables have been installed in it. Money obviously is not been spend around here.
