Planning Permission with conditions

A neighbour has been granted PP with conditions, is there any way to find out what these conditions are from the council website?This may sound a bit nosey neighbour but the build will directly affect me.Thanks.

I would still engage the services of a solicitor NOW!!!You (and I) knowing it will be of little consolation when they start digging foundations.

I know this, you know this.  But if says he can do it, that's good enough for him!At some point this small, but rather important detail will be revealed, in the meantime, let him spend more money, so far he has hired an architect and obtained PP on land he has no right to even be on.  Next step will be to hire a builder, who will have had his time wasted and be over the moon about it.  That's not my fault now is it? :-)

Consult a solicitor. No one has the right, save for a compulsory purchase order or to protect public safety, simply to decide to 'build on your land'.

Thanks for the replies, still none the wiser on this.You mention "protection for the neighbours", the land he plans to build on actually belongs to me, he has just decided that he wants to build on it!

Recent planning permission granted for my loft conversion was subject to several conditions. These included a timeframe for the start of works (within 3 years from date of permission), development being carried out in accordance with the approved plans, materials used being in accordance with plans etc. The restrictions in general were more a protection for the neighbours and ensuring that work is done properly than anything else.

Ask one of your three local Councillors.If you do not know who your Councillors are go on the Council's web site; find your Ward; and find your three Councillors with their contact details.Good luck!

Regrettably I do not know. The planning officers are usually perfectly helpful, that is when you can get hold of them.

Thanks George, but all that does is tell me what I already knew, it doesn't tell me what the conditions are, apart from as you say contacting the officer concerned, is there any other way?

If you have not already searched then here is the link. Just put in the reference or just the addresshttp://www.pam.ealing.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServletOtherwise you could leave a message for the planning officer to phone you back which usualy takes 48 hours.
