Whatever happened to the "Guardian Angels".?

These were not called Gangs, but they were Groups of concerned Young people who came out and openly declared themselves to oppose all the Muggers and Molesters that roamed the Underground and the streets.Where are they Now.? I thought they deserved our appreciation. Didn't You.?

They do still exist.There is a group based in Hammersmith who also patrol in central Acton late at night. They are really nice folk, parents as well as young adults

I take your Point Bernadette. I was aware of the dangers they faced ,but they kept a look-out in groups and posed a worry to the members of the thuggish fraternity who felt they were being watched. Today we have less police around the Hot-Spots in any given area and need to be spread out widely. I think they did make a difference in their time. They were the good-guys.

They were an open target for being mugged, bashed and raped Os.  Strangely it didn't catch on and died out.
