Watchdog/Rogue Traders
Now that Watchdog is back on our TV screens I am beginning to wonder what is the point in focusing on Rogue Traders when it is obvious that absolutely nothing comes from highlighting companies who are fleecing the public.For instance they visited a company in Brentford selling unsafe cars and who were unwilling to offer a refund or accept liability for any defects. Time and time again firms like this are shown on the TV but nothing is done to prevent them trading.On this occasion the owner was using foul language, threatened the BBC crew and the next moment the BBC crew were forced off the premises, the gates were closed and the crew and cameras sprayed with water!Surely it is a criminal offence to sell unroadworthy vehicles?
