Allotment open day
Top organic chef Barny Haughton is the star guest at Acton Gardening assoc's Open Day this coming Sunday in Bromyard avenue, noon till 4pm. Haughton, who has cooked for Prince Charles and started Bordeaux Quay restaurant in Bristol will cook food from the allotments and answer cookery questions. also there local violinist Laura Samuel leading string quartet. Laura appears regularly at the Proms, local beekeper John Chapple with glass hive, sculptor Stephen Vince. home made food and cakes. Talk gardening , cooking and much else!
