Groups of drunk men on W Ealing broadway - in mornings!

Has anyone else noticed the recent build up of groups of drunk men - usually Somalian - on west ealing broadway in the early mornings?I leave for work between 6am and 7am and see them hanging at bus stops and they are usually extremely drunk - barely able to stand straight. I don't feel particularly safe walking past them as once I was harassed (although that was at night) - luckily a community officer managed to keep him at bay.Last Thursday, the medics were down (around 6am) trying to convince one to stand up as he was so drunk and fell on the floor (he may have been involved in an incident). This was near 'bake and cake'.Strangely, when I leave for work late (after 8am), I have never noticed them, so I think they must be on their way home after some heavy partying!

Obviously Tony....Having British values helps,like belief in the rule of law,of privacy and decency and respect for neighbours and in the right of free thought and speech and democracy and the right of public trial by jury and the equality of women in the eyes of the law and in enfranch ,amongst other things.It's also about feeling like you belong to Britain,or England or Scotland or Wales and that you can identify with the history and heritage that goes with that.If you don't in any way identify or aspire to these things you may call yourself British but it is in name only.

If you answer all those time wasting questions about nationality etc on government documents, then the general advice in my experience has always been to put down who you feel you are. So if you are white and have lived in England most or all of your life, but you feel you have more affinity with being Scots, then you tick the Scots box. If on the other hand you want to avoid giving ammunition to politicians or reduce hours wasted by unthinking government officers re your racial or ethnic background you just say British, or you don’t answer at all.

British is as British does.If you do anything another way and call yourself British,that isn't cricket.

Re  even if this wasn't its main purpose             xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx    the fact they went out of their way to keep the fact of their intent of mass immigration secret tells us their true intent. I am not aware of any other Government purposely trying to undermine  their country's society, it's harmony and cohesion, and to protect themselves, they introduced draconian laws whereby the indigenous white Brits would, and were , prosecuted if they utter dissent. Unbelievable, persons like Churchill must be turning in their graves, to think what they did to keep us free as a nation just to witness it being handed over in a treacherous and traitorous way by our own leaders who a) did not tell us what they would do if got into power, b) went out of their way to keep their  behaviour  secret and c) to jail those who found it unacceptable. And we  see the results all around us. How anyone could ever vote for Labour now escapes me. Others may not be perfect but I think are more trustworthy.

Re  We're all human.      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx but a nation is made up of persons of the same type and the best way of breaking up a nation is to import and impose persons of widely differing outlooks, behaviors, religions , cultures etc etc. And that is what has been foisted on this country by our own " leaders ! and who then tall us to dissent is illegal. 50 years ago no-one would have believed such a situation could ever have come about. But it has, and the prime sufferers are the traditional supporters of the Party that undermined them, ie the white working class  stabbed in the back by New Labour.

6m suspended sentence + 150hrs community service is not as you said "his Judgeship let the women off". The DT report says the judge decided, presumably on the evidence, "that the attack in Leicester city centre was not racially motivated." OK, you assert that it was. Please prove it, don't assume it.Can't win with this sort of thing. No doubt there are Muslims who are equally incensed by the acquittal of a white woman accused of racist assault in Kensington Tesco. They probably have an unshakeable belief that white prejudice against Muslims is the only possible explanation.So there we have it: the courts are allegedly racially prejudiced against whites and non-whites. I suppose we should look on the bright side: there is at least an equal opportunity to be the victim of a miscarriage of justice.Personally I blame Tesco, who recently got into trouble for selling black dolls cheaper than the white version. It's not clear whether this indicated white dolls were overpriced so should be avoided, or black dolls should be avoided because they were cheaper. Perhaps you can tell us what to think?

Racial distinction becomes a bit silly given we are all African (originally) and movement through evolution is a given.We're all human. What it boils down to is how Government managse varying social statuses. You can have same or even worse conflicts, than what some of the posters in this forum purport, between just 'white' people.

Tony, I have just watched the video and yes it wasn't nice at all and it looked like they were all a bit drunk both the persecutors and the victims, but no excuse. I know of a case at present of a young Asian guy being beaten up by some whites guys, the police arrested the Asian guy even though it was all on CCTV. There have been some awful things happen with all cultures, the white British are far far from pure. And Emma who you wrote about had her child with her, a child that didn't flinch, a child who was used to that kind of behaviour from his mother and also she was drunk how sad, how very sad.. The black woman you spoke about is also mentally ill,and very sad and her case has not been heard yet.

You come up with the most absurd remarks on all these forums. You obviously don’t know what the burden of proof means. My first reaction to this case was that the Prosecution had prepared a very poor case and had they done a better job the accused would have had a very different type of sentence.

Re  They got suspended 6m sentences      xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx indeed so but Mr. Knox doesn't believe the reason the Judge supposedly gave, ie that being Muslim they were not au fait with the potential effects of alcohol, a reasoning which plenty of people have derided as nonsense as not a valid excuse for their not being suitably punished with crimes of assault and blatant racism. It is very good of Mr. Knox to stand shoulder to shoulder with these Somali women but I think  the vast majority of the public find the Judge's decision as pathetic. I think it behoves Mr. Knox to contact the Telegraph and tell them they are wrong, as well as all the other papers who said the same. Perhaps he will let us know what response he gets?

I used to be proud to say I  live in Ealing but not now.  And it will get worse, just look at the change also in the shops in W Ealing and Hanwell. Try a trip on 83 bus to Golders Green, you'll be glad to get there. It has managed to retain a semblance of order, reflection of it's people.

This problem is probably caused by the Sank Cafe (I always want to call it Skank!!) being near 2 24 hour off licences. The Cafe is full of Somalian men at all hours, I've no idea what the official opening hours are supposed to be for this Cafe. It would be hugely beneficial if these off licences had limited trading hours to help prevent the situation.  Also Dean Gardens is opposite and as you all know it has well documented issues over the past few years. I couldn't say if the spate of crime here is linked to alcohol consumption but all angles should be looked at.I have lived in West Ealing for 7 years and have certainly noticed the change of population and decline in this relatively short period of time. Whilst I"m all for diversity, West Ealing Broadway on a Friday afternoon is not an experience I particularly enjoy if I'm honest.On saying that the road I live on has many residents of long standing and my near neighbours are wonderful. I cannot afford to move and have a well established life here now so I have to find the best in the area in which I live in - sometimes though it is very hard to do.

South of the Uxbridge road in West Ealing there is a strong presence of well-to-do Middle class - just look at the average house prices - many going for over 600k.The problem is seeping in from the north side, and culminating on the Uxbridge road. This makes the Uxbridge Road a no go zone, especially during the dark (and obviously early morning) for the cohort of people I mention in the first paragraph.I don't think this is a racial issue - I am of an ethnic minority background myself. The problem is a symptom of Labour ideology that has created a ballooned welfare state - at the expense of the tax payer (which I bet live overwhelmingly on the South side of Uxbridge road). This will take many years, if at all, to undo. When I can afford it, I will move out.

Yeah but you invite dismissal as a racist by conflating the downhill trend with a reducing population of indigenous white people. White English are perfectly capable of behaving like scum, as can be seen in abundance elsewhere. I rather suspect it is UK in general that has "gone downhill" as a result of economic and personal stress and an ethos of "self-interest = whatever you can get away with" that has characterised the last 30 years.My point was that if you allow an area (or even a country) to degenerate, past a certain point it begins to snowball. Policies of successive parties in local government have done a fair bit to keep the snowball rolling. Austerity is now adding momentum.For the avoidance of doubt, by "degenerate" I do NOT mean "fill up with foreigners". I mean lose amenities, economic vitality and opportunity, social cohesion, self-respect, optimism, morality, kindness and hope. As that happens, the more competent people who have the money to move on often do, and they are replaced by people who often have problems and cause problems. Get enough of them and you have created an unmanageable hell-hole that even police and social workers can't cope with. W. Ealing is NOT that far gone, but it is slowly drifting that way. There are some signs that LBE has recognised and is trying to reverse a decade of managed neglect, but there is still an invisible wall between throw-money-at-it Central Ealing and the badlands of the West. You only have to walk along the Uxbridge Road to see and feel the transition.

Ealing is now a sh*thole       xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx exactly, as I have said many times but been decried for being racist, West Ealing in particular but the Borough in general has gone down hill noticeably and drastically in recent years. Fact, not racist attitude, but it just so happens, the  inhabitants are no longer white British, as used to be, but anything and everyone but. And an area reflects it's inhabitants who soon put their stamp on it. I feel an absolute stranger in West Ealing's  part of the Uxbridge road. So if certain persons, including the empty fort, don't like these words, tough  facts is facts. Long live the truth.

No. It's legal and sold openly in Southall. It's a mild stimulant that can however cause or trigger psychosis and heart attack if overused for a long time. People staggering around the place will be booze or Class A narcotics. W. Ealing seems to have an endless and growing supply of drunks and junkies. The demography has shifted over time. There are the long-standing (just about) white English/Scots/Irish regulars who can be seen out of their brains, sometimes selling drugs outside Dean Gdns. There was for a while a large (15-20) group of Romanians who'd party all day near Blockbusters, but I've not seen them for a year or so. There was a smaller group of 3-4 very-very-drunk  Albanians, again not seen for a while. Nor have I seen the young, well-dressed W.Indian beggar-shoplifter-pest for a long time. He was banned from Woolworths and just about everywhere else c.2000, but used to hang around cash machines so he could ask for money. Very persistent, couldn't take a hint even when it was "F*** off".I've lived here 30 years. I've lived in worse places and I recognise the signs: sad to say W. Ealing is now a sh*thole with a growing crime problem. Somalian refugees are just the current flavour of W.Ealing's mismanaged neglect and decline. Every recession hits W.Ealing badly because it's a poor area with a concentration of people with issues (and anyone who's suffered Somalia /will/ have issues). Successive councils prioritise the posh bits and fancy shopping centres. Many of the now-gone W. Ealing shopkeepers were furious to have their business rates spent on putting them out of business by seducing their clients to central Ealing. Making parking anywhere just about impossible also didn't help. Ken's idiot tram scheme added years of uncertainty too. So we get the human tumbleweed, bookmakers, charity shops and chicken joints.

Remember well the case of  4 Somali women who  without cause attacked and seriously injured a much younger woman, knocked her to the ground kicking her head screaming  " kill the white bitch " , which one would expect to be a case of causing grievious bodily harm  plus of course, the favourite crime now so beloved of the PC walleys, racism. And what happened, his Judgeship let the women off  on the grounds that as they were Somalis, they would  not be used to alcohol and it's  effects  in extreme imbibing, so they could not be held  responsible for their assault, damage and racial abuse. That is the way our country is being perverted. Compare the case of Emma West, who has a young child, and who  mouthed off  against multi-culturalism on a train in Croydon, she has been harassed by the Authorities since, put in prison ( for her safety!! ) and facing charges and told to expect a prison sentence with that recently of a black woman who did  the same but much worse, anti-white anti British, including abusing the Queen, and her punishment, not allowed to travel on London buses any more. Let's see what Emma gets, a campaign has formed re her case.

Re  that their time is not being spent looking for a job?             xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  they are getting  money from somewhere, that somewhere being  presumably  Welfare bens of  some sort. Plus if a person is a registered alcoholic, they can claim disablement benefit and get everything paid for them, accomodation, all living expenses, plus believe it or not, the booze !, as alcoholism is regarded as an illness. When I learned that a few years ago, I thought I hope the alcolics around the world don't find that out, or they will all  head for dear 'ole Blighty. Looks as though that may be happening?. The ones referred to here are of course the ones who " show  themselves ", could well be loads  who drink  secretly at home. Anyway, all part of  the multi-cultural  experiment. Thanks N L.

Not just limited to West Ealing. I cross Haven Green every morning and often pass groups of Polish men drinking away at around 0740hrs. It's not on. Same in Greenford Broadway. Acton, outside the Morrisons has the same issues.

Yes - they hang around the one near BK and then further down near the Cudi (or something like that). Will get some pics on mobile if I can be discreet enough.I'm all for people enjoying themselves, but given their levels of intoxication I'm not sure whether this is one to turn a blind eye to.
