Calling all cat lovers

Cat lovers are invited to an open day at the RSPCA's stray cat centre in Southall on Sat 08 Sept. The cattery, which looks after and re-homes abandoned and stray moggies, is holding the event from 11am-3pm. There will be stalls selling beautiful feline paintings by professional artists, books, bric-a-brac, cakes and lots more. All money raise will be used to help the animals at the centre.

Tomorrow I am going to collect a puppy from a breeder. I am really annoyed as tried for ages t adopt a rescue dog but all my searches were in vain. The only ones availble were staffs. I would have taken an older dog but the process is so fraught with obstacles that I gave up... It would have been easier to adopt a baby! My son in the US had the same experience and had t resort to a breeder and  yesterday flew from Dallas to N.Carolina to collect a new pet .We are both experienced pet owners and have large homes and gardens but the process was just appalling and intimidating. I appreciate that checks have to be made but they are far too invasive over things that have nothing to do with homIng a pet.....

Did you hear about the cat who drank 5 bowls of water? He set a new lap record. Ha ha ha!Did you hear about the cat who swallowed a ball of wool? She had mittens. Boom Boom!What is the difference between a cat and a comma? One has the paws before the claws and the other has the clause before the pause. Geddit?Maybe you will find lots of copy cats to add to this..
