Car Vandalism

A spate of car vandalism is prevalent in Ealing Broadway and West Ealing. In the last few weeks I have reports (following my car being one of the "victims") of significant damage to multiple cars in Eccleston, Felix, Endsleigh Roads, Drayton Avenue, Bradley Gardens and Craven Avenue. The damage is always the same - every panel with deep gouges and crosses etched into bonnets. The targeted cars seem always to be premium brands such as BMW, Mercedes, MINIs. And they have been all dark coloured cars - colours that show the damage the most. I have reports dating back to January of this happening - mine being one of those - and the activity has ramped up since June when it seems this "tagging" of crosses has begun- mine again being vandalised, completely done over this second time. Has anyone else suffered the same? I want to compile as many reports as I can in order to present to the Police, the council and the local press. The Police are aware of the matter but have washed their hands to date - with sufficient reported incidents and media focus, perhaps we can shine a light on this issue and get the Police and Council to take the matter more seriously.

I find aiming a IP camera useful you can review it in the morning and see who did what I have caught a couple of people whose parking skills leave a lot to be desired

I seem to remember a thread either on here or the Acton forum about a weird woman who was going around damaging cars seemingly as a mad hobby.

HelloAny update on this situation from your end? I ask because my car got badly keyed in July whilst parked on craven avenue along with 3 other cars. Four cars also had exactly the same damage on Hastings Road that same evening. I see from my own searches that this type of vandalism has been going on since January in the west Ealing area. Something must be done and it's just not good enough that the police say there is nothing they can do without any CCTV. It's still happening bec I just spoke to a guy who had his blue BMW keyed last night whilst parked on the Drayton Estate in west Ealing. I know that Acton police did a sting operation whereby they parked a fancy car in a problem area to deliberately attract the perpetrators with a view to catching them in the act.  I want some action taken to stop who ever is doing this. Thanks
