Here's some evidence of the Wagamama chatter:Refurb on the cards for Ealing BroadwayPublished: 12 July, 2012Wereldhave Property Management has secured Japanese-inspired restaurant chain Wagamama for Ealing Broadway shopping centre after planning permission was granted to refresh and revitalise the arcade fronting on to the High Street.Wagamama has taken a 5,800 sq ft unit in a prime position in the arcade on a 25 year lease at £80,000 per annum. The arcade, which sits to the east side of the High Street and provides access to the centre, will be refreshed with landscape, lighting and public realm enhanced. The work will be the start of rejuvenating this part of the High Street and it is hoped its new look and the addition of Wagamama to the tenant line-up will encourage other popular leisure and restaurant brands to the scheme.Ailsa Davidson, asset manager for Wereldhave, which purchased the centre at the end of last year, said: “Wagamama is exactly the type of brand we want to bring to Ealing Broadway and to have secured it just as we have received permission to carry out improvements to the arcade is fantastic.“As a long-term investor in Ealing Broadway, we are committed to creating a new modern retail environment in Ealing and the letting to wagamama and work to the High Street is our first step to achieving this.”SOURCE FROM: http://www.shopping-centre.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/5416/Refurb_on_the_cards_for_Ealing_Broadway_.html
