Hello hello hello...

On Sunday Politics show right now they are saying that Ealing Police Station is one of the nicks that the Met. may be selling so they can add to their coffers and keep more bobbies on the street(allegedly).

Every town In the Borough should have a police Station. I think that was the case before.Southall alone cannot handle  the needs of of the Population if they are to be served within a reasonable time.The Voice of the Police have been kept MUTED by Politicians who do not understand their role in Society. There ought to be a local representation over this matter.

If Ealing closes does this mean that the officers will actually be on the street enforcing the law?

When another station was closed it was said any funds raised from the sale of Norwood Green Police Station would be available for the improvement of other police buildings in Ealing Borough, not to fund other police activities. Does this mean we will have a surplus of offices and a dearth of officers?

One suspects they have been trying to sell Ealing Police Staion for a while. But it appears there are no takers.The only fully configured Police Stations in Ealing are those at Acton and Southall, and this has been the case for quite a while. Not much of a physical Police presence then for a town with a population over three times that of Carlisle.
