Long Case Clock Repair

Hi, I have a clock made c.1921 in need of service/repair. Always called a Grandmother clock in the family. It has two pendulum weights and chimes. Or it did until we moved 18yrs ago! Can anyone recommend a firm I can entrust it to? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. Google suggested one in W5, 'The Clock Gallery'. Anyone used them?

I used to work with the Chirman of the Clocks Committee for the Church Buildings Council (he has long since retired but still lives in Hanwell).He always reckoned that the Clock Gallery were a really good company who 'knew their stuff'.I have never used them but hope that this helps.

I currently have a  wristwatch being restored to hopefully, full working order, and it will be ready for collection at the weekend from the Clock Gallery. I could let you know how things go after that, however, I was very impressed with the gentleman doing the work as he sprang straight into action taking the watch to pieces when he heard that it had been immersed in a swimming pool a few days earlier.The business seems to have been going since the ark, so I feel they must be doing something right.They are very approachable, go and see them.Best wishes,Jane
