Jubilee street closure= fit children.
We seem to have made a habit of expanding primary schools by building new ones in the playgrounds of existing ones. Does exercise suffer? I find myself singing praise on the council for providing free road closure for the Jubilee parties throughout the borough. In our party-decorated, car-free street there were about 45 children. Badminton, scooter TT races, hopscotch, football, three-legged races and complete exhaustion. Who needs the Olympics? Free road closure throughout the year means this sort of healthy barely supervised fun for kids that we oldies remember in our childhood but on a regular basis. Yea and now I've tried it I like being a street drinker. Hey and the Queen approved too.
