No Ealing Council believe that over 90% of residents are online and therefore only online notices are issued with token notices in libraries etcIn fact the criteria that the concil have gleaned this from is far more telling of how dopey or manipulative they can be.The actual statistic is 90% of Ealing residents have used the internet. This bears nor relation to how many have personal access to the internet or have partial access, constant access or broadband or high speed broadband. It's interesting to note that only those with fibreoptic high speed broadband service got directly through for Olympic tickets and the Walpole Torch do.This was completely rigged, not by Ealing Council but by LOCOG who have been feeding all authorities with distorted figures on internet use and access, something started by ACOG in the 1996 Atlanta games. So all those who do not have a computer (and it is a large slice of the community) Just a dial-up internet or slow broadband are all made second and third grade citizens. All rigged as a big push to extract more and more cash out of usAnyone remember when they told us it would all be free?
