It looks as though my original guess was rather too cynical. Although no-one is explicitly saying the torch will be carried along the route from Northala Park to Walpole Park, there are 29 torch bearers for Ealing, and the timings are for just under 2 hours. Together, these strongly suggest we will have torch-bearers to cheer on.
