If you have a child with Special needs fill in the LEA  consultation

It has not been that widely publicised but LBE are consulting about the provision of special school and provision for children with special needs in school as a result of having to increase the number of school places in line with the increase in primary and secondary school places.There is a consultation of the website http://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/200628/current_consultations/1219/future_special_educational_provision_in_ealing_consultation

I have some anecdotal experience of children with special needs in ealing and the experience is very poor compared with other boroughs. for autism and other areas they talk about inclusion, however that is an easy excuse for not providing what children need. I know a family who had to get a barrister to help get their child what was needed. also within the family i know of people denied information as to their rights. so be careful. inclusion implies poor specialist provision
