Venue hire - suggestions please

Looking for somewhere that I could do some drinks and snacks one saturday afternoon in July for about 50, maybe more.As I'm not from Ealing I was hoping the people here could help out with suggestions.Needs to be suitable for young children (0-5 years old) so was thinking maybe a room in a pub although the ideal would be to have a BBQ but be able to go inside in case of bad weather.Thanks in advance!

Bit late for a response, but if you are still looking then the Drayton Court Hotel has a function room downstairs which opens directly onto a covered patio and an enclosed garden with kids play equipment in it.  http://www.fullershotels.com/rte.asp?id=297(When our kids were younger we spent many a happy afternoon / evening in the safety of the enclosed garden.)

Alison will they be hiring out the venue for kids parties too do you know? I think it will be a great facility when finished and a possible source of income generation.  On saying that I'm not sure exactly what the new facilities will be!

How about rooms at the Log Cabin They should have their adventure playground open again by then so might be fun for the children outside too weather permitting.Call 020 8840 3400 and ask for Helen Johnson's number

I would second Ealing Cricket Club - and they have BBQ facilities too.

Agreed, the catering at Ealing Golf Club is excellent.You could also try Ealing Cricket Club and Grasshoppers in Osterley.

Ealing Golf Club has some excellent function rooms that can cater for all sizes, and also, parking which is tougher in the Broadway itself. They have a good catering team and would welcome your enquiry. Please call 020 8997 0937 and press 1 (I think) for the Office and Debbie should be able to assist....
