DRY CLEANERS MAYFIELD AVENUE

victoria had spilt a lot of RED WINE down the front of her dress and brought it for cleaning dirty and crumpled. it was sent for cleaning but he refused to clean it because red wine doesnt come out and so didn't want to incurr a charge to a customer for something that couldn't be done. He put in a bag and sent it back IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS RECEIVED. Victoria came to collect her dress and a suit. She was so angry that her dress couldn't be cleaned she walked out without paying for the suit. She then sent someone in to inquire about a mobile phone 'supposedly' left on the counter............ we have to date returned to customers: £50 notes, credit cards, memory sticks, cash found in pockets, wallets........ we are not thieves! ................ unlike Victoria I pay for my goods............ As for an intimidating stare........ how should I look at customers who come in yelling at the staff, refusing to pay for goods cleaned, and accusing me of stealing????

How did we ruin your dress????? U ruined ur dress by spilling red wine down the front of it?????? whats that to do with us????? and i don't stare at you ever! as far as I'm aware I haven't seen u again since you came in last year! for the record, anyone that knows me knows of my very poor vision - I can't see at all without contacts/glasses. as for aggression - u are, to date, the most aggressive customer to come into my shop ever! it was ur attitude that brought the worst out in me and I felt it right to support my staff at that time.

Anne, I do not wish to start a forum war. The forum is for people to recommend and give their views on services they have recieved. I have admitted not paying for my suit as my dress was returned screwed up in a bag. I paid alot of money for that dress and did not give it to you in that state, if the stains couldn't of come out a clear explanation would of been fine. I felt you jumped down my throat, my phone was left on the counter and missing 30 seconds later.Someone asked for recommendations for a dry cleaners and I gave my experience, this happened over a year ago and I have never mentioned it publically. I am deeply embarrassed at going public on the forum for such a petty incident. I'm fully aware people do make mistakes, but feel they can be handled sometimes in a more professional way. Perhaps we were both having an off day! Sorry to of brought it up on the forum, sometimes these things can get out of hand. I am glad you have many happy customers and may this continue.

If lying makes you feel better and less embarrassed about the constant complaints about your aggressiveness and poor service, then feel free. You have shown your true colours by condoning your evil stares. You ruined my dress therefore I did not pay for cleaning of a suit, this should of been offered as goodwill. By stealing my phone with my babies picture on the front must of made you feel fantastic. I do hope you improve on customer service, and let go of some of that anger.
