Not at all Susan, it’s just since the cinema closed, the sky hasn't fallen in, the world hasn't ended, Empire have shown no interest in doing anything and like I said, if there was money to be made, they would have done something.In the meantime, film fans in Ealing have survived as there are plenty of other ways to watch the product.I see cinemas and films as things we are told we need rather than things we actually do need and it is a well oiled machine that has simply had its day, sometime last century.As Nigel pointed out, cinema is about escapism, so we can forget what is really happening….(I sound a bit paranoid!)Personally, I can take it or leave it but can see right through overpaid luvvies and media types attempting to hype up whatever they have been told/paid to.
