Car Wash

Where do you take your car to get washed?any recommendations?

There's a wash and valet yard at the Uxbridge Road end of Grosvenor Rd (1st left past the lights heading W out of W.Ealing, at the Polski Schlep - now becoming a cafe and formerly Junk and Disorderly. The yard is just on the left, surrounded by railings). My son uses them and he is picky, says they are very good and good value.

My husband swears by the guys opposite Poores just off Bollo Lane, won't go anywhere else unless he's lured by the convenience of having it done in a car park when out shopping, and then moans all the way home because they were inevitably more expensive and didn't do as good a job!

The car wash just south of Northfields station is pretty good (right turn once you go over the bridge if coming from the north, then immediately right).

The Garden centre on Windmaill Lane Soutall does in/out for £7.99. I still say buy a pressure washer and DIY to ensure a really good job.

Uxbridge Road, the old garage just before near the Iron Bridge/McDonalds on the right (travelling from Ealing to Southall).  Not bad job, £10 for in and out - what are the costs elsewhere?

The guys at garage at the top of Westfield Road are better than the Tescos guys and cheaper too

My front yard.Buy a pressure washer and save yourself a fortune.Else, the guys at Tescos in Osterley always seem busy.
