Land off South Ealing Road - National Land Corporation

"THE NATIONAL LAND CORPORATION"Please can anyone help with some old deeds?The National Land Corporation acquired a large area of land that was part of the "Ealing Park" Estate of Sir Thomas Lawrence (Queen Victoria's surgeon) in the 1880s.Roads were plotted out and hundreds of houses (mostly terraced) in Darwin Road, Junction Road, Carlisle Road, Murray Road, Lawrence Road, etc.Conveyances of the plots were made by The National Land Corporation in about 1888 - 1904 subject to covenants.Residents in Darwin Road have been opposing a backland development behind Nos. 58 - 62 Darwin Road for several years and are interested to see if the covenants could assist them.Does anyone still have an old Conveyance from The National Land Corporation by any chance please?I urgently need to see the exact words when the covenants were first imposed to get the complete picture.Thank you.Victor Mishiku - The Covenant Movement.  19/1/12.vmfree@madasafish.com

Thank you, Michael.It's the actual original Conveyances from the National Land Corporation Limited from over 100 years ago that I am trying to locate for any plots in Darwin Road, Carlyle Road, Junction Road, Lawrence Road, etc.  These would be dated from about 1890 to 1904.Meantime, one of the local residents has put out letters to the neighbourhood seeking any possible assistance.Thanks again.Victor Mishiku - The Covenant Movement.vmfree@madasafish.com

There are most certainly several covenants in existence for the locality.The land Gunnersbury school was built in in 1971/2 was protected by a covenant which only allowed a development such as a school and the same existed with the site Mount Carmel school stands on which was also became possible because of a deed of covenant in 1959.
