There have been recent software updates for at at least three different digital TV receivers, so I suggest that you check your box for off-air downloads available.

I don't think I'll bother scanning for Ch5+1 on the grounds that I never watch Ch5.

Most new TVs and Freeview receivers are defaulted to automatically update these day. However some of the older equipment might need to be manually updated. This website here tells you what updates are coming over the air for which equipment:http://www.dtg.org.uk/industry/download_schedule.phpRemember that a software update is different from scanning for new channels and services. The Freeview channel line up is constantly changing eg who got Ch5+1 last week? For this you need to do a re-scan if your equipment does not do this automatically.
