has anyone slipped over on damp pavements in Ealing and claimed against the Council

Just after some advice.I slipped over last year and tore an expensive suit quite badly (as well as cuts and grazes but they've all healed!).Just wondered if anyone else had any experience of slipping/falling on the local pavements and then trying to obtain some recompense from the Council.All advice / thoughts gratefully received.thanksmark

I'd sue God (Billy Connolly tried it) for causing the rain that made the pavements nasty and damp.Why do people always have to find someone else to blame for their own misfortune?

MarkDamp pavements are a frequent and natural occurrence.  Why would you think that the council may be liable for your misfortune?
