Scout Bazaar - 12th November - Isleworth & Syon School - TW7 5LJ - 1.45pm

1st Osterley are a local successful Scout Group, offering exciting activities based on the scout programme.  They get no central funding, and depend on income from termly subscriptions and fund raising events such as this bazaar.This year the bazaar is to be held at Isleworth & Syon School Ridgeway Road Isleworth TW7 5LJ at 1.45pm on Saturday 12th November 2011.Everyone will be donating their time as volunteers and there will be many people from the local community helping out with the collecting, sorting, at the bazaar and afterwards to tidy up.On the list of stalls are the followingJewellery;  books;  bric a brac;  childrens, mens and ladies jumble;  hats;  bags and belts;  shoes;  household goods;  small electrical items;  white elephant items;  toys;  fancy goods;  furniture (small items only).  There is also a raffle and a tombola stall.Come along and bag a bargain!  :-)

I just spotted the 'Recycling cassette and video tapes' thread!  Many people still use video players so are keen to pick up films on video. Jim Lawes was seen with a huge box of old style records a couple of years ago ...  :-) Well worth the try, thanks Philippa.Just had a pair of almost new crocs donated, they are lace up ankle ones with a sort of army 'desert' material - didn't realise they did anything other than the clumping ones we use in the garden!

Sarah  That was for a poster on the other thread!  I'm not sure what sort of videos they are but it was obviously worth the question.  It is good to support a named and local organisation.

The HQ is in the alley next to 63 Osterley Road, just off the A4, second left after Wood Lane when travelling West.  They get no central funding, and depend on income from termly subscriptions and fund raising events such as this bazaar.Collections of donations will be sorted on Saturday 5th November, at the HQ - if you have items suitable for donation please drop them off in the morning from 9.30am.  Everyone will be donating their time as volunteers and there will be many people from the local community helping out with the collecting, sorting, at the bazaar and afterwards to tidy up.On the list of wanted items are the followingJewellery;  books;  bric a brac;  childrens, mens and ladies jumble;  hats;  bags and belts;  shoes;  household goods;  small electrical items;  white elephant items;  toys;  fancy goods;  furniture (small items only).  There is also a raffle and a tombola stall.Any items suitable for the tombola - which I help find donations for :-) - please mark with Tombola when dropping off.  Thanks!
