Another Scam - Hong Leong Bank Hong Kong

Please be wary of any bogus letters from a Mr Hiu Au-yeung claiming to work for the above bank and report them to the police.He recently sent a letter to an elderly neighbour of mine in Northfields who unfortunately lost her husband early last year. The letter claims to have access to US$6.8m left in the Hong Kong bank by a relative of her late husband with the same surname.He gave no address only an email address hiuauyeung@songltd.net and tel. number +852 81927739.Apparently similar letters have been sent to other people as it appears on discussion boards elsewhere.It is remarkable the way this guy or racket group prey on elderly people living alone. They must be stopped. If you know of any other elderly people living alone please check this out with them.RegardsConrad

My husband had one of these letters this morning supposedly from a Seddon Wuang there was an email address and telephone number on the letter.Obviously I contacted the Police and the letter is now in their possession, may I suggest other receipents do the same.These crooks must be pretty busy!

I had a similar letter about having the same surname from a 'Ando Li' Tel. no +852 8197 2705It seems that the scams have reverted to snail mail.
