Recommendation - TV Aerial Company

Hi allI need a booster fitted onto my aerial to help with the signal of the TV's upstairs (I have Sky downstairs)  The quote I had I now seem to have lost, which is very frustrating as the other quote is much more expensive!!Thanks

This is probably not what you want to hear, but a booster is only very rarely the answer.Better to check the aerial and cable and realign / renew if necessary.If the cable run is any length at all then it is amazing how much difference spending a few pence per metre extra to use superior 'satellite' cable rather than the usual lowest common denominator 'TV' cable can make.Digital TV is a bit more picky about the aeriel setup and if you have an old one that perhaps was only just good enough before now might be the time to upgrade.Of course a booster can sometimes be the answer, and if it works for you then who am I to argue.  :-)(Yes, I am an electronic engineer.)

Hi NigelThanks for your offer! Not sure how this works but I'd love to try it out on my lodgers TV - she seems to have lost most of her channels (again!)

I use a company from Whyteleafe called Aerialforce lst year.Firm price given on arrival (which was considerably lower than local suppliers, it they even bothered to return calls!) The work was completed quickly and to my complete satisfaction.www.aerialforce.co.uk0200 0223 404Hope this helps you.The other thought is to simply use individual in-line boosters (probably cheaper). I have one that you could borrow to try if you wish.
