Heathrow Trials Leaflet - Anyone had one ?

Has anyone had the leaflet sent out by Heathrow to inform and explain about the "Operational Freedom" trials starting in November ?BAA say that they sent them to "150,000 homes in West London and to the west of the airport over the weekend of 8th/9th October 2011." I guess if there is a prolonged run of easterlies and you are under the non-alternating take-off path it must get pretty wearing. You might be one of those who will benefit from the ending of the Cranford agreement !Though with today's fog Heathrow is having one of its disaster days, I think. There seem to be lots of tweets about 3 hour delays and cancelled flights and I think Pixie Geldof was complaining that her flight was running out of fuel while holding, had to land at Gatwick to refuel and take-off again for a hop to Heathrow...... It could be another late-night at Heathrow.On the other side of Osterley Park, I've been enjoying the relative peace - though looking at the weather forecast things will return to normal soon.

Agreed Peter, two nights running.. thunderous departures at about 12.30am.We must complain I suppose.. lest the Authorities may think we're not bothered!

Several thundering planes over Florence Road last night after midnight.  We generally seem to get plane noise throughout the day and evening now as well...Nice...

I should have mentioned that the Heathrow webtrak site allows you to "replay" the flight paths a day or so after the event. It will identify the planes and give height and speed info (and noise levels on the monitors close to the airport). :http://webtrak.bksv.com/lhr

I suspect that the take-off path hasn't changed - YET. At some time they intend to take-off over Cranford using the northern runway - but I don't think they have started doing it yet. When that happens different areas in Ealing further north than those usually overflown will be affected !The first daily report on the trials (reporting on the first day, Tuesday Nov 1st) has now appeared at :http://heathrowtrial.com/

Ok, just spoken to Heathrow, who were very helpful. Tim is right , the take off path hasn't changed during this trial, for those of us in Northfields/Ealing.....I guess last night the planes were flying on the southern edge of the usual departure route!

No leaflet and first I've read about this....but I got home last night and my wife said "what on earth is happen with the planes tonight...the house was shaking! "We live in Little Ealing/Northfields.

Thanks for the replies.Whether people are under the flightpath may change as the trial is supposed to do some easterly departures from the northern runway (ending of the Cranford Agreement) - so some planes will go over Norwood Green, Brent Lodge Park, West Drayton rather than Osterley Park/ Elthorne Park/ Walpole Park.
